Failure to show up, on scheduled trial/evaluation day, is considered "No-Show".
Failure to contact us to reschedule or cancel the scheduled trial/evaluation day is considered "ghosting" and/or "No-call-No-Show".
Communication is important, and it is the owner's responsibility, to notify us if need arises to reschedule or cancel.
Please plan ahead as a trial/evaluation day is required for most new daycare guests. This is a HIGHLY-active environment where dogs do run fast and play hard; we cater, mostly, to high-energy adults & teenagers, weighing from about 12 to no more than 90 lbs. Minimum, 5 months old. All breeds welcome but must play well with others or learn. Behavior issues are considered on a case-by-case basis to assure our guests are as stress-free and have as much fun, as possible. My small team and I are happy to help with social skills, build confidence, work through some anxiety issues, or even help with some slightly dominant behavior issues, but safety for all guests and team members comes first. We want to set our guests up for success; Happy dogs is our goal. No aggression will be allowed. If not getting along, the offending dog/s will be separated for a short time-out; if a regular problem, may not be allowed to return to the pack. The goal is for happy dogs to have fun while burning off energy. This is not an organized training class. If owners have any concerns please bring them to our attention. I can usually chat in person or please email or leave a voicemail so we can troubleshoot and work on solutions. Communication is necessary, especially if we're helping with behavior issues.
Senior and special needs dogs, most likely, won't be comfortable in this high-energy environment. *Dogs should be spayed or neutered, though, it's okay to wait until they're 18 to 24 months old before surgery. Regardless of age, whether spayed, neutered, intact, etc., all behavior issues will be managed on a case-by-case basis within this social environment.
This is an all-weather group; we have an open-air shed roof and a small indoor area to seek shelter from the elements but the dogs get wet & muddy from rain as well as sprinklers & kids pools. Please be prepared with appropriate car seat protection and towel/s.
Pets need to be flea-free & on a year-round, effective flea control regimen to help maintain our flea-free facility. If flea treatment is due during the stay please bring it & we'll administer it at no charge. Pets need to be regularly tested for internal parasites and treated accordingly. Pets should not be over-medicated & treated unnecessarily; Please consult with your veterinarian & always do your own research. Knowledge is power.
Vaccinations
- Distemper-combination-Required
- Rabies vaccination-Required (can be given at 16 weeks old)

You, or your veterinarian, please, email vaccination information to classydogs@fastmail.com. Please don't over-vaccinate.
PLEASE DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH EVEN AFTER ASKING YOUR VETERINARIAN QUESTIONS, ESPECIALLY ABOUT SAFETY OF ANY NEW VACCINATION & MEDICATION & LONG-TERM SIDE EFFECTS.
Introduction Day
Many people added new pets to their families while working at home, under excessive government-controlled-lockdown. This made it more difficult to provide proper socialization and training; most dogs are taking longer to adjust when coming to daycare. We're encountering pets with a wide range of issues that may require extra time and supervision in our highly-active, highly-social environment, therefore we have had to implement a new policy to ensure a smooth transition.
Please call or email to make appointment for the 'First Introduction Day'.
Please don't give a time constraint for this First Trial/Evaluation Day. The whole point of this day is to allow for a gradual introduction process. If you do have time constraints please tell me when we set up the appointed day.
*The goal is to set your dog up FOR SUCCESS.*
This introduction is most important to assure all dogs are safe & play well with others; It must be done properly, without the owner present. Sufficient time must be allowed, especially if any behavioral concerns. Please plan to leave your dog most, of our business day (at least 6 hours or your work day, if that's longer). We have the ability to separate dogs, as needed. If there are any major issues we will call.
Please feed your dog at home; we are not set up to feed daycare dogs though we do, request owner bring food for pups under 6 months old, if they're going to be here most of the day. Generally, dogs over about 8 to 9 months old should be good eating twice daily.
Our boarding guests are fed before daycare dogs begin arriving & at the end of the business day.
For new clients, new pets, if you haven't used our services since 2024, or if your information has changed, please complete a new Service Agreement in the office at check-in. We need 1 form for each pet.
Zero-tolerance for late pick up.
Dogs not picked up before closing time will stay until the next regular business day at FULL BOARDING RATE
Bathing and grooming services are no longer available.
